CANCER DU COL DE L'UTÉRUS

Cervical cancer develops in the lower part of the uterus that connects to the vagina.

Risk factors

  • Human papillomavirus (HPV): A sexually transmitted infection that significantly increases the risk. HPV screening tests and vaccination can reduce this risk.

  • Smoking: Increases the risk of certain types of cervical cancer.
