Endometrial cancer
Endometrial cancer, or uterine cancer, develops in the layer of cells that lines the uterus.
Risk factors

Hormonal changes: Fluctuations in estrogen and progesterone.

Duration of menstruation: Early onset or late menopause.

Absence of pregnancy: Greater risk in women without pregnancy.

Advanced age: Increased risk after menopause.

Obesity: Hormonal imbalance.

Hormonal treatment for breast cancer: Tamoxifen.

Lynch syndrome: Increased risk of colon and endometrial cancer.
